5A Championship Game

#2 Tampa Plant V. #9 St. Thomas Aquinas

Tampa Plant  32 - St. Thomas Aquinas 30

Plant will face Manatee on 08/27/10 and many feel this will be a preview of the 5A title game. I believe Manatee misses Brion Carnes more than alot of people realize. Therefore I believe St. Thomas Aquinas reaches the title game. This Sets up a colassal clash of the titans of two of the most dominant programs in the state in the last 10 years. Tampa Plant will field one of the best high school players to lace them up in the state of Florida in James Wilder Jr.(The #1 player in our top 100). St. Thomas Aquinas as they always seem to do lost alot and reloaded with almost the same amount of talent led by Miami Commit Albert Lois-Jean, FSU Commit Rashad Greene and all everything corner Marcus Roberson. If you had seen what we saw last year you would know that betting against Wilder in a big game is like tying a steak on your hand and trying to pet a pit bull. You are gonna look a little dumb. That being said Phillip Ely makes enough plays to win, Wilder comes out of the phone booth and Plant repeats

4A Championship Game

#1 Palm Beach Dwyer  V. #20 Lakeland Kathleen

Dwyer 26 - Kathleen 23

No Matt Elam no problem for Dwyer who will trot out the most talented team in the state this year as they boast 3 Florida prospects top 100 players in QB Jacoby Brissette, DE/LB Curt Maggit, and Super Tight End Nick O'leary. Kathleen probably plays in this game last year if they did not have to forego the post season due to feilding an ineligible player. Kalhleen will return this year with a vengance led by LB Gionni Paul and a stable of athletes all over the feild. Kathleen will put up a fight but in the end Brissette closes the deal for Dwyer and they repeat as Champions.

3A Championship Game

#15 Booker T Washington V. #14 Jefferson

Jefferson 21 - Booker T Washington 17

Booker T. Washington lost alot in last year's senior class and will be breaking in a new coach but will ride a stellar Defense led by stud Defensive Lineman Elkino Watson Jr.  However Jefferson will line up possibly the best QB-WR combination in the state in Florida Prospects top 100 WR Andra Davis, his fellow WR Chris Moore. and QB Quinton Williams. Combine that with several rising Juniors on Defense that appear to be stellar. Booker T Washington will give them all they want but Jefferson has the Look of a Champion I believe Davis will make enough plays for them to survive.

2B Championship Game

#18 Ocala North Marion  V. Chaminade-Madona

Chaminade-Madonna 40 - Ocala North Marion 34

The once dominant Chaminade-Madonna shocks the classification and gets to the title game lead by QB Jerrard Randall. The Lions finally appear to be poised to make their return to the Elite of Florida High School Football. Although we really like Ocala North Marion this year as they have loads of talent. They need to find a QB to manage the talent that will surround him and that talent will carry them to this game. Still its Chaminade's year as Randall leads the Lions to a return to prominence in 2010.

2A Championship Game

#10 Coa Coa V. #13 Glades Central

Cocoa 37 - Glades Central 36

Rematch of last years Title game in which Chevelle Buie(FP top 100) did his best Chris Rainey impression dominating the game with explosiveness, illusiveness and speed. Glades Central will not soon forget that game as it seemed as if they underestimated their Brevard County Foes. Glades Central still boasts 4 star receiver Kelvin Benjamin, but will not have access to him at this point in the season due to an FHSAA age ruling. Thats too bad because they will need him. I believe that Buie is one of the most underated players in the country and he will show that again on this stage and The Cocoa Tigers win their 3rd consecutive title and solidify themselves as a mini-dynasty.
