All Decade Wide Receivers

The first ten years of the new cenutury has produced some of the greatest players in Florida Football History.  Today we start our debate to who have been the greatest at their position in this decade.  The All Decade Wide Receivers will consists of Four Wide Receivers.  Voting will close on May 25.

Dwayne Bowe – Miami Norland 2003 – Led the Vikings to the state Championship in 2003.  Name First Team All State WR.  College LSU

Andre Caldwell – Tampa Jefferson 2002 – Led the Dragons to the Class 4A state finals in 2002.  Name Parade All American, First Team All State.  College Florida

Anthony Hill – Jacksonville First Coast 2003Name First Team All State Wide Receiver.  College LSU

Santonio Holmes – Glades Central 2002 – Led the Raiders to two state titles.  All State Performer.  College Ohio State

Aldarius Johnson – Miami Northwestern 2008 – Help lead the Bulls to High School National Championship.  Two Year All State performer.  College Miami

Greg Matthews – Orlando Edgewater 2005 – Help lead the Eagles to consecutive finals appearances in early 2000.  All State Performer.  College Michigan

Ryan Moore – Orlando Dr. Phillips 2001 – Rated number two wide receiver in country.  Parade All American and USA Today All American.  College Miami

Will Oakley – St. Augustine Nease 2004 – All State Performer.  Set Jacksonville record for receptions and yards senior year.  College Alabama

Dishon Platt – Punta Gorda Charlotte 2002 – Rated Number One Wide Receiver in the Nation.  Parade All American.  USA Today All American.  Rated number seven overall player in nation.  College Florida State

Fred Rouse – Tallahassee Lincoln 2005 – First Team All State performer.  USA Today and Parade All American.  College Florida State

Deonte Thompson – Glades Central 2007 – All State Performer.  Led Raiders to Class 3A State Title.  Parade All American.  College Florida

Craphonso Thorpe – Tallahassee Lincoln 2001 – First Team All State.  Second team USA Today  All American.  Help led Lincoln to state title.  College Florida State
