Florida Prospects Releases All Florida Prospects Pre-Season Team. Here are the best players in the State by position in our estimate coming into the 2010 Season. We will be releasing position by position analysis of the states talent begining next week. For now here is the ALL Florida Prospects Offense.

2010 Pre Season All
Florida Prospects Team

Offense

QB Teddy Bridgewater 6-3 195 lbs. Miami Northwestern ****

The ultra athletic but raw QB of the Miami Northwestern Bulls Looks like he is finally ready to tap into his unlimited potential

RB Mike Blakely 5-8 185 lbs. Bradenton Manatee ****

Our Southwestern scout believes Blakely to be the best player in the state. I will say that he is definitely a player on the rise after his stellar performance in the State championship game and semifinal last season and the Kickoff Classic against Tampa Plant this season.

RB Mike Bellamy 5-10 190 lbs. Punta Gorda Charlotte *****

Trying to tackle Bellamy in the open field is nearly impossible as he has superior quickness combined with a burst that leaves most defenders looking stuck in the mud.

WR Sammy Watkins 5-11 175 lbs. Ft Pierce *****

Watkins is very similar to Bellamy in the open field, so if you’re not a great athlete with great technique don’t waist your time trying to tackle this guy.

WR Eli Rogers 5-9 180 Miami Northwestern ****

Makes up for his lack of size with incredibly strong and reliable hands, exceptional quickness, and overall phenomenal athleticism

WR Avery Johnson WR  6-2 195 lbs Pompano Beach Ely (JR)

The only Junior to make our list . Johnson is a High School Football Phenom in the making look for him to be the overall instate prospect in next year’s class.

TE Nick O’Leary 6-3 234 lbs Palm Beach Dwyer *****

Best Tight End prospect Florida has produced in a long, long time. O’Leary is as close to a finished product as you will see in this class.

OL Tyler Moore 6-5 275 lbs Clearwater Countryside ****

Moore is physicaly the prototypical offensive tackle at the next level

OL Erin Joe 6-4 286 lbs Lake City Lake Gibson ****

Bruising run blocker will be a tremendous guard wherever he ends up

OL Marcus Jackson OL 6-5 285lbs Vero Beach ****

Jackson has the rare combination of great size AND great feet. He is well known for his run blocking by in state defensive linemen

OL Trey Braun 6-4 Tallahassee Leon ***

Braun has the potential to develop into a stellar player but like all young linemen must improve his Pass blocking

Ol Trey Pettis 6-4 286 lbs Deland ***

Pettis projects as a center and if that holds true he will be a great one. Pettis explodes off of the ball in the run game and had great technique

ATH De’aunte Sanders Deland 6-0 200 lbs ****

The versatile Sanders will play Quarterback, Running back, and Receiver for the Bulldogs this season. Expect him to touch the ball on well over 80% of Deland’s offensive snaps if healthy

Defense

DL Tim Jernigan 6-2 280 lbs Lake City Columbia *****

Best Defensive Tackle prospect in this class and its not even close. Jernigan has all the tools to be a dominant player on the next level

DL Curt Maggit 6-3 195 lbs Palm Beach Dwyer ****

Although he doesn’t posses a college ready body that is about the only part of his game that is not ready for the next level. Expect Maggit to be down right dominant all season

DL Lonnie Gosha 6-2 270 lbs Lake Butler Union County ****

Closest thing to Jernigan this class has to offer great size, good feet, and while he may not penetrate as much as Jernigan It is almost impossible for a high school lineman to move him out of a whole.

DL Anthony Rabassa 6-3-230 lbs Miami Columbus ****

Anthony has tremendous natural pass rush ability and pursues the Quarterback with relentless intensity

LB Tony Steward 6-2 220 lbs St. Augustine Menendez *****

Tony Steward = Beast. Expect his already bright Star to continue to rise throughout the course of the season.

LB Kent Turene 6-3 237 lbs Lauderdale Lakes Boyd Anderson ****

Already has a college ready body not to mention he is very disciplined and reads his keys well.

LB Gionni Paul 6-0 217 lbs Lakeland Kathleen ****

We are anxious to see if Paul is ready to become the great player his physical abilities should allow him to develop into.

DB Hasean Clinton-Dix 6-3 200 lbs Orlando Dr. Phillips *****

Everything you want in a safety at the next level big, athletic, intelligent, instinctive, and disciplined.

DB Karlos Williams 6-2 220 lbs Davenport Ridge *****

An Enforcer in the secondary. He has game changing playmaking ability and covers far more ground than most Safeties at this stage of their careers.

DB Nick Waisome 5-9 178 lbs Groveland South Lake ****

If he were taller he’d be a 5 star plain and simple. Very, Very physical and not just for his size he is just plain physical. He also has exceptional closing speed. He is a player on the rise coming into this season.

DB Gerrod Holliman 6-0 180 lbs Homestead Southridge ****

While we may be higher on him than some other services he is definitely worthy of this accolade. He is potentially a Star on the next level as far as Florida Prospects is Concerned

ATH James Wilder II 6-3 235 lbs Tampa Plant *****

Wilder’s Potential is limitless on this end of the football, although he has stated he will play running back on the next level and we believe he will be successful at that position. However when he is healthy and engaged there is no one close to him (including the afore mention Steward) on the defensive side of the ball.
