Florida Prospects First Annual Broward/Dade Challenge ended with Dade county capturing all six games of the event.

This past weekend Florida Prospects hosted its First Annual Broward/Dade Basketball Challenge at Miami Monsignor Pace High School. The event had six of the better teams in the South Florida area going against each other for county bragging rights.

When it was all said and done, Dade County sent a strong statement as they won all six games over their Broward County opponents.

This was a great way to start of the season. We got an opportunity to play against some of Broward County best teams and see where we were as a team ourselves. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a great year for us.” Miami Pace Head Coach Mark Liebermann said.

Here are the results from the event:

Thursday Night

Miami High 65 Sunset Piper 50
Miami Dr. Krop 68 Ft. Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas 42
Miami Pace 63 Stoneman Douglas 42

Saturday

Miami High 49 Stoneman Douglas 31
