Two of Central Florida's best squared off at Jones high Friday night in front of a huge crowd and did not disappoint.

Jones was off to a slow start while Colonial jumped out to a 17-10 lead after one, Denise Daniels started out strong for Colonial, scoring 8pts in the quarter. More of the same in the second quarter this time it was Colonial's Dajsha Hall's time she scored 11pts in the quarter as they outscored the Tigers 21-18 in the quarter, as they had a 38-28 halftime lead.

Leading scorers at the half Colonial Dajsha Hall 13pts, Denise Daniels 8pts, Jones Korneila Wright 15pts, Chardell Jones 7pts

Second half looked as if Colonial was about run away with the game being up as many as 17 at one point, 58-41 heading into the fourth quarter, two of the Tigers senior Korneila Wright and sophomore Chardell Jones tried to put the tigers on there back scoring all 27 points in the quarter, C. Jones scored 9 and seemed to get every rebound, Wright who committed to UCF earlier in the day, got hot early and often scoring 18 of her game high 37 points she could not be stopped late in the game she hit 3 three pointers in a row to cut the lead to three with less than a minute, and Colonial holds on to a 72-68 victory.

Great game by both I know it's early but excited to see how they finish in there respective classes.

Final stats Colonial Dajsha Hall 25pts, Kharis Idom 12pts, Denise Daniels 11pts, Jones Korneila Wright 37pts 10rebs 10ast, Chardell Jones 23pts 20rebs 5stls
