Trinity Conquers Episcopal

Oct 30, 2006

The Trinity Conquerors (9-0) flexed their muscle over a young and game Episcopal(5-4) team as they looked like there're ready to return to state prominence. Led by a brutal ground attack and nice size offensive line, the Conquerors were able to do whatever they
wanted to out of their base wing-T set.

Florida Prospects Junior Studs Jamie Harper and Montell Harris paved the way all night for Trinity ripping off chunks of yardage at a time. Harper finished the night with 16carries for 146 yards with three touchdowns, two rushing and one receiving touchdown that covered 49 yards. He also had scoring runs of 26 and 32 yards.

Harris wouldn't be out done scoring on a 44 yard touchdown dash to the end zone. His numbers were 16 carries for 132 yards a TD. Along with kicker Chris Tippet kicking field goals like extra points from 42 and 38 yards out the young eagles never got a chance to get on track, and they squandered some nice opportunities to change the outcome of the game.

Jacksonville Episcopal’s Orlando Evans tried to keep his comrades in the game by setting up some nice kick off returns to change field position, but the Trinity defense led by senior safety Brett Gainey harassed and confused the young sophomore quarterback of the eagles.

One notable, Florida Prospects Junior Stud linebacker/DE Chris Moses had himself a nice game finishing with double-digits tackles and a fumble recovery in the loss.
