Sarasota Booker made school history in boys football last year as there team made it to the state championship game for the first time. Although they came up short losing to St. Augustine High in the state finals, the Tornadoes are determined more than ever to return to the finals and bring home a state championship. One player who will be leading the charge is super athlete John Jones Jr..

Sarasota Booker’s senior quarterback Darante Hunter isn’t your ideal quarterback. He stands at only 5’10 180lbs. He doesn’t have the strongest arm and may not be the fastest player on the field. What makes Hunter light shines so brightly is his undeniable will to compete and his will to be successful.
