With the football season right around the corner, Florida Prospects will be doing several Q&A’s with many top athletes around the state. Recently, Florida Prospects sat down with Lake Brantley star running back Antonio Miles to discuss his goals for his up coming senior season with the Patriots.

Since the start of the decade, Seffner Armwood High School has been one of the dominant football programs in the state of Florida. During that span, the Hawks has produced some of the best prospects in the state. This year is no different as the Hawks is loaded and ready to contend once again for a state championship. Leading the cause for the Hawks is senior linebacker Petey Smith.

The 2011 Boys Basketball Class features some of the top talent in the nation. The class is loaded with top guards who can play for any team in the country and has a nice amount of big men who can develop until special players.

With the AAU season entering it's most important month, Florida Prospects has identified several players who have raised their play during the off-season.

The Kreul Classic, a national high school basketball tournament for boys and girls, has secured one of America’s most impressive tournament fields for its’ 19th edition which will be played December 19 through 23, 2008 at Coral Springs City Gymnasium in Coral Springs, Florida. High-profile teams including St. Benedict’s (NJ), Montverde Academy (FL), and Dillard (FL) and stand-out players like Brandon Knight (Pine Crest, FL) and Tristan Thompson (St. Benedict’s) help to make the Kreul Classic this year’s must-see prep tournament.

Jacksonville Wolfson has been one of the more successful basketball programs this decade. Winning more than 20 games a year, the Wolfpack has established themselves as one of the top teams in the state year in and year out. One player looking to continue Wolfson’s dominance is rising senior forward Chris Rozier.

For these Division I NCAA certified events, college coaches and scouting services will be in attendence to observe the Southeast's finest college prospects. The days consists of 3 sessions of evaluation games, a skill development session, and separate discussions with parents, coaches, and players concerning the college recruiting process. Division I, II, III, NAIA, and Junior College coaches are allowed to attend this event.

Since the beginning of spring, West Palm Beach Kings Academy’s Toney Moore has slowly become one of the hottest prospects in the state of Florida. With great size and speed, Moore is one of Florida’s finest athletes and is ready to take his game to another level.

The past two years Jacksonville Providence has come very close to making the state final four only to lose to Jacksonville ACD.
