The Kreul Classic, a national high school basketball tournament for boys and girls, has secured one of America’s most impressive tournament fields for its’ 19th edition which will be played December 19 through 23, 2008 at Coral Springs City Gymnasium in Coral Springs, Florida. High-profile teams including St. Benedict’s (NJ), Montverde Academy (FL), and Dillard (FL) and stand-out players like Brandon Knight (Pine Crest, FL) and Tristan Thompson (St. Benedict’s) help to make the Kreul Classic this year’s must-see prep tournament.

For these Division I NCAA certified events, college coaches and scouting services will be in attendence to observe the Southeast's finest college prospects. The days consists of 3 sessions of evaluation games, a skill development session, and separate discussions with parents, coaches, and players concerning the college recruiting process. Division I, II, III, NAIA, and Junior College coaches are allowed to attend this event.

Jacksonville Guard Is Starting to Get Noticed

The past two years Jacksonville Providence has come very close to making the state final four only to lose to Jacksonville ACD. This year, Providence is confident that they will finally get over the hump and make the finals. The biggest reason for their confidence is the play of their star guard J.P. Kuhlman.
