After another week of upsets, their have been some changes from the top 10. Here is Week Six version of our Top 25 Poll.

During the first half of the season, no one has played better than Jacksonville Bolles Quarterback Randy Hardin. Averaging close to 300 yards a game and three touchdowns, Hardin has led Bolles to a 4-0 record and a number three ranking in the state. Recently Florida Prospects Football Analyst Michael Holloway caught up with Hardin to talk about his recent commitment to college.

Playing in front of over 3,000 scream fans, Winter Haven Senior Offensive Lineman Matt Timmons walked off the field with tears of joy streaming down his face as the Blue Devils came back from a 14-0 deficit to defeat top ranked Seffner Armwood 26-25 in overtime in a key district game.

For Boys Basketball, the most important time of the year is the summer. During the summer, many players are able to raise their stock with improve play and showcase their talents throughout the nation. One player who was able to raise his stock South Florida Forward, Jamal Owens has gone from one of the best players in South Florida to one of the best players in the state.

The midpoint of the football season is upon us and there are many surprises. Today, Florida Prospects take a look at the season and present our Mid-Season Awards to Players and Teams from each region.

The young Bolles offensive line showed some grit and determination as they protected senior quarterback Randy Hardin all night against Keystone Heights defensive front. Led by senior center Chance Reins, the Bulldogs churned out over 300 yards rushing and over 300 yards passing as Bolles defeated Keystone Heights 48-13.

On a cloudy, muggy and wet night, September 1, 2006 marked the beginning of a rivalry between two cities on different ends of Broward County. Hollywood and Pompano Beach were both represented by two good quality high school football teams, Hills and Blanche Ely, respectively. Blanche Ely Tigers (1-1) ranked 10th and Hollywood Hills Spartans (2-0) ranked 4th in the state. This was round 3 of a fight filled with agony, tears and passion from both squads putting their mark as one of the best in the state.

Last year, John Brantley led Ocala Trinity Catholic to an undefeated season and the school’s first ever state championship with a victory over Pahokee. Now regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in the nation, Brantley is on a mission to prove that his team as well as his self deserves the respect as being one of the best in the state.
