With the basketball preseason underway, Florida Prospects will be attending several tournaments across the state to get an early assessment for the basketball year. This past weekend Florida Prospects attended the RJM Sporting & Events Thanksgiving Tip-Off Classic held at William M. Raines High School in Jacksonville Florida.

The best way to get on the basketball map is to do something spectacular. Something that will have the entire basketball community buzzing for a long time. That’s exactly what Derwin Kitchen did back in 2003 as a Sophomore he hit a 24 foot 3 pointer to win Jacksonville’s Raines second state championship in its school’s history.
