Top Five Defensive Ends for the Class of 2006

1. Bryant Miller - Miami Central
Last year Miller missed most of the season with a shoulder injury. Miller did finish with five sacks in only four games. He is big and fast standing at 64 250lbs. and runs a 4.5 forty.
2. John Paul - Immokalee
Paul is a great athlete who could play tight end. Last year, he helped lead Immokalee to its schools first state title. He stands at 64 255lbs. and finished with over 70 tackles and five sacks during his junior campaign.
3. Jamil Paris Sebastian River
After an outstanding Nike Combine, Paris has seen his stock shoot through the roof. Standing at 65 215, Paris is one of the fastest linemen in the state. He only played in three games because of injury last year but really showcased his talent at the combines where he dominated many of the top offensive linemen.
4. Audie Augustin Oakland Park Northeast
At 63 230lbs, Augustin is one of the most athletic players in the state. Last year, he had over 70 tackles with ten sacks. What separates Augustin from other linemen is his speed. He runs a 4.6 in the forty and also runs the 110 hurdles for his high school.
5. Rodney Gnat Jacksonville Wolfson
Gnat was another player who saw his stock rise after the Nike Combine. Gnat has great speed and quickness from the line of scrimmage. He finished with ten sacks last year for Wolfson.
