One of the toughest positions on the football field is cornerback. When you play cornerback, you are often left alone on an island and are expected to shut down the individual to your side. It is really the one position on the field where you can be singled out as the hero or the goat. Of course most athletes say that they want the challenge but are never prepared. One player who prepares for and relishes the challenge of being in the spotlight is Miramar Parkway Academy cornerback Kevin Holloway.

When you start to evaluate some of the top teams in the state of Florida, Miami Booker T. Washington High school will be at the top of most lists. Last year, Washington finished with a 12-1 record and came within a point of playing for the 4A state crown. With the majority of their team returning, the Tornadoes are hungry and poised to win a state title. One player who will help lead the charge for a title will be defensive lineman Joseph Jackson.

During this span, the Saints have gone from a middle of the road team to one of the better teams in the city of Jacksonville. While the Saints lost All Florida Prospects Running Back Maurice Wells (Ohio State) and All State Linebacker Marvin Sapp (South Carolina) to graduation, they return a solid nucleus that is ready to make a run for a state title.
